In September 2001, Audi launched a limited edition TT Coupé S line for the European market, with only 100 examples of the 225 hp Coupé and 30 examples of the 225 hp Roadster. This limited edition, with an additional price of around €1,500* outside the Netherlands, was received with great enthusiasm by car enthusiasts. The individualisation of the TT Coupé S line by quattro GmbH made this model extra special.
In November 2002, Audi introduced the S line packages as standard options, leading to much excitement among UK buyers of the TT Coupé S line, who demanded refunds for the price increase of their cars. This highlights the exclusive and sought-after nature of these unique models!
