In early 2002, limited edition (30 units) Limited Edition 2002 was produced for the Netherlands based on the 180- or 225 hp Roadster. This, then, as a successor to the 2001 Limited Edition of the Coupé. The additional price of the ‘Limited Edition 2002’ was 6,950 guilders (about € 3,154). The most distinguishing factor was the colours that were available, especially Mingblau-Perleffekt LZ5L which never became part of the standard colour palette. The Limited Edition 2002 came with a specific key fob, which unfortunately disappeared in time with most of them.
