Powerful tribute to a legendary race
In 2006, Audi celebrated in a special way the 99th anniversary of the iconic Isle of Man Tourist Trophy race - the race from which the TT takes its name. To mark the anniversary, an exclusive limited series was released: the Audi TT 3.2 Special Edition.
Based on the powerful 250 hp 3.2 V6 TT with DSG transmission, this series appeared in both Coupé and Roadster versions. Exactly 99 examples of each variant were built - a subtle nod to the 99 years since the very first Tourist Trophy race in 1907.
Character and recognisability
The Coupé version is extra visually striking thanks to the black roof, reminiscent of the sporty look of the quattro sport. Combined with the distinctive 3.2 V6 engine, this version is easy to spot on the second-hand market today.
Exclusively for America
The 3.2 Special Edition was intended exclusively for the US market. Prices at the time were $ 43,539* for the Coupé and $ 46,539* for the Roadster - a premium price for a TT with extra power, looks and a tribute in its DNA.
