Time capsule in the concept TTS Roadster

The concept versions of the TT were built in a very short time at Italdesign in 1995. In just four months, the concept TT Coupé and, parallel to it, the TTS Roadster were realised. By the end of August 1995, both were ready to be presented at the IAA Frankfurt (concept TT Coupé) and the Tokyo Motorshow (concept TT Coupé and TTS Roadster). According to survival, when the concept versions were ready, it was the moment for Freeman Thomas (designer) and Romulus Rost (interior designer) to feast themselves on a Romeo y Julieta No. 3 cigar on the last night in Turin.
