Can you imagine driving around in an Audi TT 8N specially tailored to your personal style? The Audi TT offered just that with AUDI exclusive options from quattro GmbH! Often ignored because of their price tag. In the Netherlands, you could just click €13,500 for the Roadster and €16,000 (extra high due to the 45% BPM* at the time) for the Coupé on the order. But those who could afford it did have a special Audi TT 8N. Incidentally, the Audi exclusive options were never part of the standard price lists in the Netherlands despite from the very first days of the Audi TT 8N, dealers were able to configure them to customers' wishes.

Recaro bucket seats
Last to mention are the Recaro Pole Position bucket seats for the driver and co-driver. To be found in German leaflets since 2001, well before the quattro sport was introduced. The version for which they are best known. Perhaps today the most sought-after upgrade for the TT 8N driver. The characteristic of the seat did eliminate the side airbag. And they were only available in Leather / Fijnnappa / Valcona or leather with alcantara combination.  In the Dutch price lists, the Recaro's would come in at €3,345 (Germany price €2,250). Current price at Audi Tradition around €3,000 each.

In conclusion

AThey often used the many colours and upholstery from the Audi palette of the other models. But if you really wanted something different, this was no problem either. That is what this Dutch TT 8N Roadster shows in the Ferrari colour Rosso Corsa 322.

So basically, in those days, anything was possible with Audi exclusive and you could just click on extra options for €20,000 just like that.

Tip:
On the site www.camblin.fr you can find a very complete overview of paint colours and upholstery options for the Audi TT 8N. Images of very many options have been collected.
